Love Like Jesus

In Gospel of John 13:34–35, Jesus gives His disciples a defining mark: love one another as He has loved us. This message explores what that kind of love truly looks like—not sentimental or convenient, but sacrificial, intentional, and transformative. Drawing from Romans 12, we’ll discover the source of Jesus-style love (a heart changed by Him), the shape of Jesus-style love (humble, empathetic, and inclusive), and the practice of Jesus-style love (choosing peace, rejecting retaliation, and acting in obedience even when it’s hard). This sermon challenges us to move beyond passive kindness into active, Christlike love that becomes the evidence of a life genuinely transformed by Jesus.
